We guess you have all heard about Felista Di Superstar, the talented teenage Ugandan musician who a few days ago released a new hit dubbed ‘Crocodile’.
Her freshest drop ‘Crocodile’ is currently in rotation on airwaves across the country and being streamed by thousands of fans on YouTube.
Well, although Felista Di Superstar has been around the Ugandan music scene for some time now, very few people know who she really is and how she joined the music industry at such an early age.
However, all that will change from today onwards, because we are here to officially unveil Felista Di Superstar to the public, so that her audience can get to know about their icon and get well acquainted with her.
Real name Nanyanzi, Felista Di Superstar is a young Ugandan female rapper and performing artist, born in Kikoma village, Sembabule District to parents; Nyanzi Mike ( father) and Nalubega Hasifah (mother).
Felista developed love for music at the age of four, then miming her dad’s songs, who was performing under the stage name Wizz Beats.
However, her breakthrough in music came in 2018 when the dad wrote her freestyles that she nailed and eventually grabbed the public eye.
In 2019, she met vocalist Geosteady in studio as he was rehearsing and did a freestyle video with him that went viral.
In the same year, she dropped her very first career song dubbed ‘Nawambye’ with producer Ian Pro, which was followed by ‘You Know Me’ that was produced by Atin Pro.
In 2020, she teamed up with Producer Temperature, dropping songs; ‘Jambo’, ‘Birth Day Anthem’ and ‘I Can’t Breathe’, a song that was done to pay tribute to the late George Floyd, an Afro-American who was killed by the police.
In the same year, she released a single with Producer Anest, dubbed ‘ Save The World ‘, which was meant to raise awareness about the Corona pandemic.
She has since done other songs, including a collabo with Kenyan group Mbuzi Gang dubbed, a Ramathan period single titled ‘Ekisiibo’, among other songs.
Felista Di Superstar, who completed primary seven last year, is currently a Senior One student, pursuing studies alongside her music career.
